In Support of Sarpy County Historical Society
The area known as Sarpy County was a springboard for Nebraska’s settlement and expansion. It’s rich history ranges from local Native American tribes to Offutt Air Force base and the cities of Bellevue, Gretna, LaVista, Papillion, and Springfield. The Sarpy County Historical Society strives to protect, preserve, and promote the history of Sarpy County by overseeing the Sarpy County Museum, the Bellevue Log Cabin, the Bellevue Depot, and the Moses Merrill Mission site.
